Responsible for the County's Enhanced 911 system which annually handles more than a million requests for police, fire and emergency ambulance services. Boyce has been recognized for heroism several times during his career. Having joined the Upper Darby Fire Department as a volunteer in 1982, Mr. Prior to his appointment as Director of Emergency Services, Tim Boyce was a Deputy Fire Chief for Delaware County's largest combination fire department. The key to making that coordination successful is the strong relationship that exists between the County's businesses, educational community and their private security professional. Boyce coordinates response efforts for Delaware County's 550,000 residents, 65 fire departments, 42 police departments and 31 emergency medical providers.
